How can I get a lawyer to help me with this Child Support Issue? honey asked:
I am located in Washington State and I need to Collect Child Support from my children’s father who has been avoiding his responsibilities. I do not think it is fair to have my current spouse supporting them on everything (even though he wants to) and let this deabbeat father run away from his responsibilities. Please help. You might have to hire a private Recovery Agengy like the ones listed below.
Good luck … every child should have what they deserve, a Parent that supports them.
Okay, I also live in WA and have done this! Go to Support Enforcement, file for child support. If he signed the birth certificates then they won’t ask him if he denies paternity or not. If he didn’t sign then they will ask. If he denies then paternity test, or visa versa. Then at that time, nothing comes out of pocket for you. I didn’t pay a dime for my state appointed attorney! THe attorney did all the work. You will have to know some info on him, sounds like you do. It took me a good year to get my child support started, but you know what I GOT IT!!! My daughter has never seen her father, it’s a decision that her father made and I have to live with the guilt everyday of bringing a child into this world with such a dead beat, but I didn’t climb on myself to make her. Go get the money that is owed to those kids. You have a stand up man now, no need to look back.
