About 3 or 4 years ago my tailbone started hurting so i went to the doctor they did some X-Rays and they said i have a slight Spina Bifida. It is a birth defect and someone told me i can get on social security for that is it true? im only 15 years old

Only if it prevents you from working or going to school. I also have spina bifida, but it doesn’t prevent me from working. It takes three doctors, and at least one of them must be a Social Security doctor, to say you are unabe to work or attend school.

Disabilty & SSI is very difficult to get…a long lengthy process…However, IF your conditon prevents you from experiencing full quality of life…your doctor can assist in offering diagnosis verification of health condition. Young people as well as adults can apply/collect SSI & DISABILITY
